Join RYT-200 certified yoga instructor & Wim Hof Method instructor Dan Jacobs every Sunday for a yoga, meditation, breathwork, and cold plunge experience in the Sanctuary at The Red Barn in Durham and Miller's Pond.
Each class begins with a brief meditation followed by a 75 minute traditional Hatha Vinyasa yoga practice. The class ends with guided WHM breathing and svasana meditation for a total 90 minute immersive experience.
After this, the group gets into their vehicles and drives 10 minutes up the street for a guided cold plunge in Miller's Pond. As a group, we will all sit in the cold water in nature for a total of two minutes.
Who's This For?
Anyone from first-time beginners to super yogis are welcome, easy to advanced variations of asanas (yoga poses) will be provided to accommodate all. Throughout the class, Dan will also touch on bandhas, chakras and the subtle energies, sutras, mantras, mudras, vedic teachings, and Hindu philosophy.
Each class is limited to 25 students. Please show up 10 minutes before class starts, an abundance of free parking is available.

Miller's Pond is a hidden gem nestled in the hills of Durham, a roughly 10 minute drive away from The Red Barn.
There are many points of entry to get into the water, but we will use the one closest to the parking lot.

Meet Your Instructor
Dan Jacobs (Yoga Dan) is currently an RYT-200 Yoga Instructor and certified Wim Hof Method (WHM) Instructor at The Red Barn in Durham, Connecticut.
In 2016, he graduated from the RYT-200 teacher training program at Synergy Yoga Center in South Beach, Miami and in 2018 completed the WHM Instructor Certification courses in Washington & Los Angeles. Throughout his career, Dan has taught yoga classes and led WHM workshops in Miami, New York, Las Vegas, Washington, and Connecticut.
His passion and experience guiding others to meet their true strength was turned inward in 2023 when diagnosed with stage 4 blood cancer, a challenge that was met and overcome with the help of yoga, breathing, meditation, diet, and WHM. What was once a calling became a necessity, revealing new perspectives of the vitality, power, and significance of the healing modalities he teaches.
Dan’s classes focus on the synergy between the breath and proper alignment of poses so students can swim with open eyes in the clear waters of strength and serenity during and after class. From beginners to super yogis, all experience levels are always welcome.
